Situated in the Northeast region of Vietnam, Halong Bay borders Cat Ba Island in the southwest, the East Sea in the east, and the mainland, creating a 120 km coastline.

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong – Cat Ba (L/D)

AM: Pick up at your Hotel and depart for Halong Bay. Halong Bay is one of the country’s most famous tourist attractions and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty, and is known as “Dragon descending to the sea” in Vietnamese. Arrive at Halong Bay around 11:30, and have lunch at a restaurant in Halong.

PM: Enjoy boat trip to Cat Ba Island (about 5 hours), and on the way visit Thien Cung & Dau Go caves. 17:30: Arrive at Cat Ba Island, check-in at hotel and have dinner. Overnight at hotel in Cat Ba Town.

Day 2: Cat Ba – Halong – Hanoi (B/L)

AM: After breakfast, check out of hotel and then cruise on the boat back to Halong city with a break for swimming, overlooking beautiful scenery and daily life of Halong on the way. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Halong city.

PM: Return to Hanoi. On the way back, take a short break at Hai Duong city. Arrive in Hanoi around 16:00.
