Come to Sa Pa to enjoy the scenery and explore daily activities of the tribal peoples. Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai 20h00: Pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi railway station for a night train at 21h15 to Lao Cai. Overnight trip to Lao Cai in sharing comfortable sleeping compartments of Tourist carriage (2 lower & 2 upper berths per compartment) on the train. Lao Cai is a mountainous region located in the north of Vietnam with 8 districts and 1 city, Lao Cai city. pulation of nearly 600 thousand living in an area of 6,360 km2. It shares 203.5km border with Yunnan Province, China. Lao Cai city is located on the border which has Lao Cai – Ha Khau international border gate.
Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat (B/L/D) 6h00: Arrive at Lao Cai railway station where the driver is waiting to drive you along the exciting curvy road, surrounded by steep mountains and rice fields on terraces to Sapa. Have breakfast and free to visit daily ethnic market, Sapa town. PM: Trekking to visit Cat Cat village of H’Mong people, visit Cat Cat waterfall lying in a small valley. Overnight at hotel in Sapa. Day 3: Lao Chai – Ta Van – Lao Cai – Hanoi (B/L) AM: After breakfast, trekking to visit some minority villages: Lao Chai – Ta Van. You will see some different minority people: H’Mong, Zay, Dao… dressed in the traditional style that is unique to the Northern region. Experience the daily lives of minority people to understand better their culture and customs. Picnic lunch. PM: Come back to hotel by motorbike or jeep. 17h00 Take bus down to Lao Cai Station for the evening train depart for Hanoi at 20h15. The train arrives at Hanoi Station approx 5h00 the next morning. End tour.
